Telling a Story With Your Vintage Photographs

This Spring, I will be presenting several demonstrations and a workshop based on my Women I Might Have Known series. I will share my method of using an old photo and a story about the person as a launching pad to build a colorful painting that is both vintage and contemporary. I will be demonstrating the decision process of presentation, as well as layering with stamping and other creative techniques to build a dynamic surface.

Demonstration, Thursday evening March 12, 7:30 - 8:30
Louisville Art Association
Louisville center for the Arts, 801 Grant Ave. at Memory Square Park
free to public

Demonstration, Tuesday Afternoon, May 19. 2:30 - 4:00
Arvada Fine Arts Guild
Arvada Center for the Arts, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd, Room 11A

Workshop, The Paletteers Art Club, May 1, 9:00 - 4:00
Location: Aar River Gallery, 3707 W. 73rd Avenue, Westminster
